Campers will have an opportunity to try many different activities including swimming, boating, nature studies, hikes, arts and crafts, story time, bible study, climbing wall, archery, songs, sports, games and more. Each week will be exciting, new and fun to keep campers active the entire summer.
It boasts overnight accommodations for up to 210 guests, meeting spaces capable of hosting up to 300 attendees, and offers a plethora of outdoor and indoor activities. The camp’s idyllic location is enhanced by its proximity to historic Annapolis, just 20 minutes away, and within an hour’s drive from the bustling cities of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. West River Center is an ideal choice for various gatherings including retreats, meetings, conferences, summer camps, outdoor events, and special occasions, making it a versatile and inviting destination for those seeking a blend of relaxation and inspiration.
Join in the fun of camp for a whole week but sleep in your own bed! Day camps are offered each week through the summer and parents know their kids are safe and enjoying activities outdoors instead of plugged into electronics.
Get a week away and enjoy all that West River offers: swimming, boating, climbing, music, games, and much more! One-week residential camps are offered for entering third-graders to adults.
For those who live close-by, we offer swimming lessons for children and youth. Living near the bay, you can never take this skill for granted! From beginning to advanced levels.
